As I start writing this blog, we have just seen that 2 days ago (Friday), our wire construction fence has been erected, a porta-potty installed and the land has been scraped clean and flat. But gee it’s taken a long while to get to this stage. A lot of tears, anxiety and hold ups. I hope that others might benefit from our journey so far, as I relive some of the set backs that has taken us 18 months to get to the building stage.

Hi I am in the process of waiting for Ashford homes to start my build. Think something is going on with this company, no one returns calls emails, wondering if you had the same trouble. Regards Denise

Hi Denise,
I think there has been a few resignations recently from site managers. I received an email 2 weeks ago that ours had resigned, and I’ve read a few threads from the HomeOne fourum and others are saying the same. I spoke to our independent building inspector and he says it is common in this field of work to lose site managers. They all think the grass is greener on the other side he said. I hope they fill the position quickly and get us all back on track. 🙂
